The Miller House Cocktails!

The Miller House Martini:

2 Oz Blanton's Bourbon

3 Oz Cranberry Juice

1/2 Oz Cointreau

Combine all ingredients with ice into a martini shaker, and shake vigorously.

Pour into a martini glass, and garnish with a lemon twist.

The Sazerac

Chill a rocks glass until frosted

Combine 4-6 splashes of Angostura Bitters and one tablespoon of simple syrup into a separate glass.

Splash the chilled glass with Pernod, and swirl around glass. Empty any liquid from the glass as this is just a "rinse".

Add a nice rye whiskey like Bulleit, Sazerac, etc.. and the bitters/ simple syrup to chilled glass.

Garnish with a lemon twist.

The Bourbon Ball

2 Oz Maker's Mark, or other wheated bourbon

2 Oz Godiva chocolate liquer

1/4-1/2 Oz Frangelico

1/2 Oz half and half

Combine all ingredients with ice into a martini shaker, and shake vigorously.

BEFORE pouring ingredients into martini glass, add a pinch of salt to the glass.

Pour, and enjoy!!

The Miller House Old Fashioned

Muddle one orange slice, a maraschino cherry, a splash of Angostura bitters, and one tablespoon of simple syrup in a rocks glass.

Fill glass with ice, and then 2-3 Oz of Four Roses Small Batch.

I like to pour mine back and forth from one glass to another to mix the ingredients, and to spread the muddled fruit throughout the drink, rather than leaving it at the bottom.

Sit on the porch, scream at the kids running through your yard, and enjoy!

The Manhattan

A traditional Manhattan is made with rye, but you can substitute any bourbon or whiskey that you like.

2-3 Oz of rye, or bourbon of choice.

A splash of maraschino cherry juice

2 -3 splashes of sweet vermouth. I use Martini and Rossi, but your favorite will work as well.

The Manhattan is a simple drink that is very easy to turn into a disgusting mess. Experiment with the amount of cherry juice, and vermouth. A little goes a long way for both!

Combine all ingredients into a martini shaker with ice, and shake vigorously.

Serve in a martini glass with a maraschino cherry garnish.

To make this on the rocks, just skip the shaker, and serve in a rocks glass with ice!
